Welcome 2025 Spring Interns!

We are very excited to have Ava Coleman, Supriya Dahal, Garrett Sublette and Isabella Castro here to learn and grow in the accounting and finance world. During their journey here they will get to see the life of a tax return as it travels through our office, will venture out on audits with senior staff, will be up front to greet our clients and more, all while balancing a full schedule at their respective colleges. They have shared some of their thoughts and goals (read below) they have about the RFH Internship Program.

“Hello, my name is Garrett Sublette, and I am a returning intern here at RFH PLLC. I am a senior attending Eastern Kentucky University pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a concentration on Accounting and a Certificate in Financial Technology and Cybercrime. I first heard about RFH from one of my professors at EKU who helped me set up an interview and apply for an internship and start my first tax season last year. Working here has been a wonderful experience, the work environment is very professional, and everyone here is incredibly friendly and always willing to help me learn and answer questions. I am very excited to continue working with this wonderful group of people and learn the ins and outs of the accounting world!”

“My name is Ava Coleman, and I am a junior at the University of Kentucky, majoring in Accounting and Finance. During my time at RFH CPAs, I’ve gained valuable hands-on experience in the accounting field while building relationships with a talented group of professionals, which has greatly expanded my network. As an intern, I gained insight into the detailed process of preparing a return, from scanning client documents to organizing them for final delivery. I’m eager to apply the knowledge I gained during my fall term to the upcoming tax season. I look forward to further developing my skills, growing personally, and learning all the necessary steps involved in preparing tax returns in public accounting.”

“My name is Supriya Dahal, and I am a student at Eastern Kentucky University, pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems with a minor in Business. Last fall, I had the opportunity to intern at RFH during the audit season, and it was truly a rewarding experience. I was able to learn something new each day, challenge myself, and grow in ways I had not anticipated.

When I was offered the chance to return for the tax season internship, it was an easy decision. I am excited to be working alongside such an incredible team. The support and guidance from RFH have made all the difference. I look forward to pushing myself further, contributing to the team, and continuing to learn throughout this experience.”

“My name is Isabella Castro, and I am honored to join RFH PLLC as a new intern. I am currently a sophomore at the University of Kentucky, pursuing a major in Accounting. I was drawn to RFH because of the exceptional team and the welcoming atmosphere I encountered during my interview. Everyone was incredibly kind and made a lasting impression on me.

I am eager to contribute to the firm while gaining valuable experience and insights into the accounting profession. I sincerely appreciate the opportunity to be a part of RFH and look forward to learning from such a talented group of professionals.”
